Job responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement microservices and back-end APIs
  • Analyze performance to upgrade performance and functionality
  • Collaborate with developers for creating code, testing, and setting off Node.js based services

  • Write clean, efficient, testable, and reusable codes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop highly efficient back-end components

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in Node.js development (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
  • Profound knowledge of Node frameworks, including Express, StrongLoop, etc.

  • Proficiency in developing and implementing microservices, REST, API design, and third-party libraries
  • Strongholds on JavaScript its frameworks and libraries
  • Proficient in supporting large-scale distributed system production support
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with relational database systems
  • Understanding of code versioning tools like Git and GCP/AWS
